The 1.6 eco diesel feels dated and while the 1.8 petrol with independent rear suspension is hugely better, two grand is a lot in this price-sensitive market. Looks are important, but beauty is more than skin deep and Seat’s Leon needs a bit more attention to the details if it wants to compete at the top of the class.
